The Tourism Council of Frigiliana wants to value the geographical virtue of our village. Up until now, and for some considerable amount of time, there has been a guided walking program that takes in the many parts of the Natural Park. In addition, in early 2013 we published the first volume of a booklet with routes to and from Frigiliana. These routes are those that we show in this section, and you can download the booklet in PDF format from here.

Frigiliana is positioned in a prime location, a municipality set in the Natural Park of the Sierras Tejeda, Alhama and Almijara, yet within a 5-minute drive from the popular, nearby coastal resort of Nerja.

To promote tourism using the natural beauty the area has to offer, we have published the first volume of a walking guide, all of which start and end in Frigiliana. The volume includes 9 routes, virtually achievable by people of any age or physical condition, making it much more enticing to anyone who wants to enjoy our countryside. In future volumes routes will be expanded, reaching heights and locations of greater complexity, so that those who want to tackle more complex challenges can also find their incentive.
